  1. Frame Control ( 2 bytes)
  2. Duration ( 2 bytes)
  3. Receiver Address ( 6 bytes)
  4. Frame Check Sequence ( 4 bytes)

6) The Estimate of the retransmission rate as the number of retransmissions over the number of original transmissions would be 1430 original data frames and 353 retransmission data.

Therefore Estimate of the retransmission rate is 353/1430) = 25%

7) The data rate AP supports are 1, 2, 5.5, 6, 9, 11, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, and 54 Mbps. The rates are listed in two
tagged parameters as :

  1. Supported rates
  2. Extended supported rates

The 1, 2, 5.5, and 11 Mbps rates are marked "B", implies they are 802.11b legacy rates instead of 802.11g rates

8) Types and Subtypes are as follows:

  • Association Request Type is 0(Management) and Subtype 0
  • Association Response Type is 0(Management) and Subtype is 1
