a) Calculation of gross income for a lobour worker

Per day wages Hours worked Total Wages
$ 19.5 9 = $175.5 ($ 19.5 x 9)
$ 19.5 8 = $ 156 ($ 19.5 x 8)
$ 19.5 7 = $ 136.5 ($ 19.5 x 7)
$ 19.5 6 = $ 117 ($ 19.5 x 6)
$ 19.5 10 = $ 195 ($ 19.5 x 10)
Total $ 780

b) If he work on saturday,total wages will be

Normal Pay = $ 19.5

Overtime = 1.5 times pay

Total Pay = $ 29.25 ($ 19.5 x 1.5)

Assuming he works 8 hours on saturday

Total wages for saturday will be = $ 29.25 x 8 = $ 234

Total wages = $ 780 + $ 234 = $ 1014
