1) Total Cost = Direct material + Direct labor + overhead cost

Direct materials:

Wood = $4800 (4000*1.20)

Glass   = $2240 (400*5.60)

Cardboard = $250 (500*0.50)

Total   $7290

Direct Labor = $59840 (22*160*17)

Overhead Cost = $55000

Total Cost = $7290 + $59840 + $550000

Total Cost = $122130

2) Per unit cost = Total cost/quantity produced

Per unit Cost = 122130/900

Per unit cost = $135.70

3) Gross Margin = Sales revenue - cost of goods sold

Gross Margin = $225000 (900*250) - $122130

Gross Margin = $102870
