Joe believes that Capital punishment is "right". Here, usage of the word "right" states that it is his set of believes. Whereas, Navpreet's contradiction stating that none have control over life is his set of values which he believes in.

Thus, both are value statements expressing their belief/their values.

Employee engagement is employees being involved in, enthusiastic & passionate about, committed to their workplace. Thus, Jacquiline's enthusiasm and passion exhibits her employee engagement.
