Answer #1

A) Total Time required in minutes to produce all the units in Months is 82500 Minutes (See working).

Product Monthly Demand Processing time per unit Total Time required Units In Minutes In Minutes 1 2500 6.0 15000 2 8000 5.0 4

b) Total Time in minutes each equipment will work = Working Days X Working Hour X 60 Minutes

Total Time in minutes each equipment will work = 20 X 8 X 60

   Total Time in minutes each equipment will work = 9600 Minutes

C) Number of machine requiredto produce all units in months =

Number of machine required = \frac{Total Time Required to produce all units in Minutes }{No. of Minutes a Machine Produce}

Number of machine required = \frac{82500}{9600}

Number of machine required = 8.59

Since Machine cannot be in Fraction therefore 9 machine is required to prodce all the Units demanded in months.
