Company A :
Depreciation for 2018 = ( Cost - Salvage value ) / Estimated useful life = ( 88000 - 6000 ) / 4 = 20500
Company B :
Depreciation per mile = ( Cost - Salvage value ) / Estimated total miles = ( 88000 - 6000 ) / 250000 = 0.328
Depreciation for 2018 = Depreciation per mile * Miles driven in 2018 = 0.328 * 77000 = 25256
Company C :
Double declining depreciation rate = ( 100% / Estimated useful life in year ) * 2 = ( 100% / 4 ) * 2 = 50%
Depreciation for 2018 = Cost * Double declining depreciation rate = 88000 * 50% = 44000
