FORM 1040-SR

  • Form 1040 - SR can be used by the person whose age is 65 (born before January 2, 1955) or more than 65.
  • The form allows income reporting from wages , salary and tips if they are still working and it allows to report income from other sources such as Social Security,  pensions, investment income, annuities or similar deferred-payment arrangements .
  • Married couples filing joint return can fill this return if either of them is fulfilling the requirement of age criteria. printed with the standard deduction chart.
