Answer #1

a. Accounts Rceivable

From the given data we can find the accounts receivable by applying the average collection period formula.

Avg Collection Period = (Accounts Receivable / Sales) x 365

We know that the Collection Period is 40.55 days, lets input that in the formula

We get, 40.55 x 1000 (sales) / 365 = 112

Accounts Receivables = $112 million

b. Current Assets

Current Ratio = Current Assets / Current Liabilities

3 = Current Assets / 105.5

Therefore, Current Assets = 105.5 x 3 = $316.5 million

c. Total Assets

Total assets = Fixed assets + Current assets

Total assets = 283.5 + 316.5 = $600 million

d. ROA

Return on Assets = Net Income / Total Assets

ROA = 50 / 600 = 8.33%
