A, in this stage the bronchus and bronchioles mature in size but the alveoli in immature form the side walls of these wil be in thinner to make more surface area for respiratory air for the feotus lung. The surfactant that is the combination of the protiens and fat that is present in the lungs lungs is start to produce in this stage but is not enough for the childs respiration. In this age group the baby should be kept in neonatal intensive care unit and surfactant should be introduce the to babys lung and if possible corticosteroids should be administer to the mother befor delivery for the maturity of the lungs and if the babys condition is worse should be place in mechanical ventilator by endotracheal tube or non invasive ventilator by CPAP or place in incubator for the further development of the baby.

b, Formation of alveoli will occur in lart trimester of the gestation, the infant born withount signs of respiratory distress in this age of gestation have changes in the airsack that means alveoli and airway developmennts in the starting of the life and air way dysfuunction.and the diseases like asthama are common in this group of childrens.

Foetus is supplied by foetal circulation the fetus lung was not inhale and exhale in mothers womb but the placenta and the umblical cord will help the fetal circulation and oxygenation of the baby,

The umblical cord is the connection of the blood vessels between the placenta to the umblicus of the foetus, the babies umblical cord have three blood vessels one vein and two arteries. the arteries that carry out the products that eliminated by the foetal blood supply and the vein tha carry the nutrients to the foetus for the growth and development of the baby.

The two steroid hormones are produced by the placenta for the pregnancy and delivery of the foetus that are one is oestrogen it helps to influence the growth of the muscle layer mayo metrium and other one is pogestron imrpves the enviornement for the fetus and the placenta to mature and it prevent the shedding of the lining that is the shedding of the endometrium during the gestation.
