Answer #1

Answer

(A) this is not the right answer because the median and mean are close to each. So, we can say that the distribution is right skewed.

(B) We dont know about the number of samples, so we can never tell whether there is any miscalculation or not. So, it is not the right answer

(C) we know that range is equal to 4 times of the standard deviation (By range of rule of thumb)

Here range is 35 and standard deviation is 5

So, range is seven times, which is a violation of range rule of thumb

so, option C is answer

(D) we can not say that all 100 values must be within 5 and 35 because we dont know what are the minimum and maximum values for the data set

so, it is not the right answer
