Ans- This question can be easily be solved with help of equation of motion.

Let u be the initial velocity of aircraft and v be the final velocity.So v=0 as aircraft will come to rest. Average deacceleration experienced by aircraft a=-9.81m/sec2 for timeperiod of 10 seconds

So using equation v-u=a*t

0-u=-9.81*10

So u=98.1 m/s

This is the required initial maximum speed of aircraft
