Given Adjacent side = 12 ft

Let Hypotenuse = x ft

Angle of elevation Φ = 69°

cos Φ = Adjacent Side / Hypotenuse

Thus, cos(69°) = 12 / x

0.35836 = 12 / x

Then, x = 12 / 0.35836 = 33.4851

Hence the length of ladder is 33.49 ft
