A and D. ADSL, or asymmetric DSL, offers maximum download speeds of between 1.5 and 9 Mbps and maximum upload speeds of between 16 to 640 Kbps. VDSL, or very high data-rate DSL, offers maximum download speeds of between 13 and 52 Mbps and maximum upload speeds between 1.5 and 6.0 Mbps.
