Three measures of dispersion : Range, interquartile range, and standard deviation
Range
Lowest value in x with frequency > 0 = 1
Highest value in x with frequency > 0 = 9
Range = 9-1 = 8
Interquartile range :
1st arrange data in to ascending order then find the cumulative frequency as follows
cf: cumulative frequency
Interquartile range = Q3 - Q1 = 8 - 5 = 3
Standard deviation :
Standard deviation = 1.9621
Frequency ploygon :

MODULE 5. MEASURES OF CENTER 40 Module 5.1 A Feel for Measures of Center Learning Goal: For the distribution of a quantitative variable, describe the overall pattern (shape, center, and spread) and striking deviations from the pattern. Specific Learning Objectives: Find the mean and median from different representations of data. Develop number sense with mean and median by creating different data sets with a given mean or median. 1) Here are two sets of exam scores, one for a class...

I really need help answering these questions! Please help Graph the frequency distribution as a histogram graph. Use StatDisk to draw the graph. Describe the histogram and choose one of the measures of central tendency to interpret this data set. Carry all calculations and the answer to 4 decimal places unless otherwise noted. For example, the number "123.0000" has been carried and reported to 4 decimal places. (Yes, trailing zeros count.) The county library staff has recorded the number of...
