Using the following information, write a formal business letter.

You are a writer who writes articles for a finance magazine, Money Wise. You have decided to go on a sabbatical to further your research on financial literacy in other countries and you are keen to receive payment for an article you wrote three (3) months ago. The editor, Mr Tony Starck, has been very slow in paying you and when you send him a reminder notice, you are surprised when he responds with a letter of complaint. In the letter of complaint, he claims the article is irrelevant to the topic given and he does not wish to pay.

However, today during breakfast, while browsing through a magazine, Business Today, you see your article published there. When you check, you are shocked to see that his name is printed as the writer of the article which you had submitted earlier to Mr Starck.

Write a formal letter to the Editor in Chief, Mr Tony Starck at Starck Publishing House, Lot L1-01, 1 Mont' Kiara, No 1, Jalan Kiara, Mont' Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. Respond to his complaint and claim your payment. Your letter will be prepared by your assistant, Ms Poppy Potts.

Remember to promote goodwill and use appropriate language with correct grammar. Use the standard letter format ( FULL BLOCK STYLE ).

Dear Mr Starck,

This is in reference to the article I had written for your magazine dated:20/04/2020. It has been three months since I wrote and submitted the article and I am yet to be paid for it. On my polite reminders to you for the payment, you complained that the article is irrelevant and thus does not deserve to be paid. However, today morning I came across the very same article published in a magazine with your name as the writer. I am shocked to see such an immoral act from a respectable person like you who holds a responsible position in a company.

I request you to make the necessary corrections if this was an error and also make the payment due to me at your earliest. I am positive that this issue will not be delayed or ignored anymore

Thanks and Regards

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
