As for my personal perspective, I might avoid doing tattoo on my body but I have piercing in my ears. The reason of not getting tattoo is that I might get some peer pressure of preventing those actions. Also, I might not like the idea of getting permanently inked my body. Besides, there are some cultures which might prevent us from doing so.

In case of employment, the employers as per their company's policies might avoid certain kinds of body or face tattoo and piercing. There is a thing that employees may get lesser chance of getting hired due to their face or body tattoo or some piercing which is not common. Employers may tends to think that these type of candidates might not get serious for their job.
