The correct answer for above question is 1.

Explanation:

Page Fault : it is the page replacement in virtual page memory.

Page reference is the queue of the pages required for processing.

In given question virtual page memory is 10

and Page refernce given are 1000

with out knowing the details of pages in virtual memory and the pages in reference page fault rate can not be calculated but range of fault rate can be calculated

There are chances of 100% page faults if all the 1000 page refferences are unique

There are chance of 0% of page faults if 1000 page reference has only 10 pages which are present in virtual memory.

Therefore with the given data it is not possible to calculated the page fault rate
