(c) To use a single table for some analysis, multiple tables for other analysis.

Depending upon the kind of data involved in the analysis phase, some could be multiple tables to ensure better user experience in analysis of the data (although it involves more work) and use of single tables for simpler data, in order to make the data easily readable for further analysis.
