Answer #1

A : sales experience B : college degree , C: Real estate license

n(A) = 56 , n(B)=40, n(C) = 29, n(AB) =20 , n(AC) =13, n(BC)=17 , n(ABC) = 10 , n(A'B'C') = 24

a) Total applicant , n(AUBUC) = n(A) + n(B) + n(C) -n(AB) -n(AC) -n(BC) + n(ABC) = 56+40+29-20-13-17+10 =85

b) No sales experience = n(A')= n(AUBUC) - n(A) =85-56 =29

c) n(ABC') = n(AB) - n(ABC) = 20-10 =10

d) n(A'B'C) = n(C) -n(AC) - n(BC) + n(ABC) = 29 - 13-17+10 =9
