A controlled experimental environment-Skinner box. This experiment involved the placement of rat in an electrified floor box with a lever and a button. It demonstrated positive and negative reinforcement in rats. The rat was able to push the lever when it required food and was able to push the electric button off when the electric current was generated on the floor.

Only one stimulus before a response--unconditioned stimulus. There is generation of a stimulus which is automatic and generates a single response as an effect of action of that stimulus in the environment.

Inadvertent, ritualized behavior--superstitious.

Pairing two stimulus in space and time-Association-It was given by Kurt Lewin. It is grouping of different things in space and time. The different behaviors which are rewarding are associated together.

Setting for approximation to a goal--Law of effect--In this affect the response from a stimulus is repeated again if it is rewarding and positive and if the stimulus is negative then the response is not repeated again and inhibited in the environment.

Classical conditioning. In classical conditioning-There is response to a stimulus in the environment.There is unconditioned stimulus for an unconditioned response. The next part includes the pairing of conditioned stimulus and response. This leads to the generation of a conditioned stimulus and a conditioned response. The unlearned object of sign leads to a response in the environment.It was given by Pavlov.

To learn one must, one must do or experience directly-Experiential learning, Radical Behaviorism--The example includes the process of learning in rats by performing experiments on rats in a cage as performed by Skinner.

Operant conditioning. In this conditioning there is learning through the process of consequences in life. In this process of learning there is no need to performing a function, a person can learn by observing things and situations in the environment. The consequences alter the rate of response in a person according to the rewarding stimulus or punishing stimulus in the environment. It is a analysis of a behavior due to a stimulus to perform if a desired result is beneficial with rewarding of that behavior.

Spontaneous recovery--It is the reappearance of an extinguished response after passing of a considerable amount of time. If the reward is provided again after a substantial interval of time then it causes the recovery of the spontaneous behavior which was learned in the past history.

To note differences among a set of potential actions--Response discrimination. It is an ability to discriminate among the different type of stimulus which are present in the environment.

Shaping--It is a reinforcement of different behaviors again and again until a desired behavior is obtained. It is used for achieving the desired behavior and goal by the process of approximation of different behaviors to obtain the desired resultant behavior.

No awareness is required-It is based on Sigmund Freud concept about the presence of unconscious thoughts which can bring about negative emotions and prevent the revealing of awareness and conscious thoughts and perceptions.
