The anterior rami of brachial plexus are the continuation of anterior rami of spinal nerves C5to T1 . These rami emerge from the interventral foramino and travel through the neck. The 5 rami unite to form the superior, middle and inferior trunk in the posterior triangle of the neck. Nerves unite to C5 and C6 unite to form superior trunk; nerve C7 remains as the middle trunk and nerves C8 and T1 unite to form the inferior trunk. Portion of each trunk divide deep to the clavicle into an anterior and a posterior division . These primarily contains axon that innervate the anterior and posterior parts of the upperlimbs . Upon reaching the axilla they converge to form three cords.
