HoSoln is positive. So, heat wil be released by water

heat absorbed = mol*HoSoln

= 0.15 mol * 17.2 KJ/mol

= 2.58 KJ

= 2580 J

This heat will decrease temperature of water

Since density of water is 1 g/mL and volume is 150 mL:

mass of water = 150 g

specific heat capacity of water, C = 4.184 J/g.oC

use:

Q = m*C*(Tf - Ti)

2580 J = 150 g * 4.184 J/g.oC*(25-Tf) oC

(25-Tf) = 4 oC

Tf = 21 oC
