mitigation is to correct the means of the climate change and adaptation is to correct the ends of the climate change in simple words mitigation is all about decreasing the causes of climate change while adaptation is to minimise the impacts of the climate change in above options only there is one effort to reduce the impacts of climate change causes higher water level of island that can be done by erecting the sea walls so that it would not inundated
