Australian taxation office (ATO) will give information related to taxes.This site will give details such as registration,due dates,where to lodge,online services etc for various catagories such as individuals,Business,Not for profit,super and tax professionals.

Making payments and the obligations under the tax system using an activity statement.This statement allows to report for a range of services such as GST,luxury car tax,wine equalization tax,Pay as You Go(PAYG)withholding &instalments,Fringe benefit tax instalments and deferred company instalments.

ATO will send your activity statements 2 weeks before the end of the reporting period. Complete the form and return the original by the due date along with the payment due..activity statement can be lodge either online or paper form..

Activity statements can be monthly activity statements are due for lodgement and payment on 21st of the following month. except December month.

Quarterly activity statements are due on 28th day of the month following the reporting period except for the quarter 2 which is due on February 28 of the calender year.

Quarterly PAYG instalment activity statement-head companies of consolidated groups are due on 21st day of the month following the reporting period.

Annual GST returns. Due date for filing annual GST return is either the due date date of tax payers return or 28th February of the following year.
