Atom When large number of atoms come together and bind against each other by chemical bonds, they make a molecule. Now an interesting thing that we need to distinguish is that all the compounds are molecules but all the molecules are not compounds. Carbon dioxide is a molecule and compound too since it is made up of bonding between carbon and oxygen. Water is also a molecule and compound too. Oxygen in the atmosphere is a molecule but not compound since it is formed of only one sort of atom i.e. oxygen. NaCl is also a molecule. Thus, the correct answer is E i.e. all of these.
