Timing diagram explanation :-

First clock cycle = T₁

Here, the CPU performs fetch instruction. Here, the instruction is fetched from the memory or RAM address pointed by the PC (program counter ) and the value of PC is incremented

Second clock cycle = T₂

Here, the fetched instruction is decoded into the machine language instruction as fed to the required component

Third clock Cycle = T₃

Here, the decoded instruction is now executed . So the CPU performs the operation according to the data or instruction fetched by it.

Fourth Clock Cycle = T₄

Here, the results occured due to the operation performed in T₃ cycle are stored in the given variables or registers.
