Answer #1

R^2 = 0.1269, means the regression model is able to explain 12.69 percentage of variation

Adjusted R^2 = 0.1228, means the regression model is able to explain 12.28 percentage of variation. Adjusted R^2 improves only if the addition of a new term increases the model fit

Laggatrevene, is positive, 0.0044275 (means 1 unit increase in laagatrevene increases the salary by 0.0044275 units), is statistically non significant as the P-value is greater than 0.05 or at 5 percent level

Lagwp48, is positive, 01.34e+07 (means 1 unit increase in Lagwp48 increases the salary by 001.34e+07 units), is statistically significant as the P-value is less than 0.05 or at 5 percent level

Coefficient is positive,3448595 (means the salary is 3448595 even when Laggatrevene and Lagwp48 is zero)

Model 1 Model 2 Countries have a keen interest in exploring the drivers of their sectoral energy consumption, including TRANSPORTATION energy use. These models will examine the log of final energy use by TRANSPORTATION “ln_tranpc” across 128 countries. All variables with names beginning “ln” are measured in natural logarithms. The variable oecd is a dummy variable equal to 1 for countries in the OECD and equal to zero otherwise. The variables are described below: Lntran_pc = log of transportation energy...

Question 2 (15 marks in total] University students are expected to attend all classes within a course. But university administrators and teaching staff are aware that student attendance can be adversely impacted by a variety of factors including travel time. Also, when attendance rates drop, there are often concerns expressed that it is students most at risk of performing poorly who are not attending class. To better understand some of these issues, a sample of undergraduate students was drawn from...
