1) The QRS complex shows the depolarization in the muscles of ventricles. As the muscles of ventricles have large mass of muscles than atria , the amplitude of QRS complex is so large.
2) Depolarization of the atrial myocardium is shown by P wave.
3) Repolarization of the ventricular myocardium is shown by T wave.
4) Repolarizaton of the atrial myocardium is not shown by ecg as the amplitude of atrial relaxation is very low.It starts from the end of the P wave and continues till the complete cycle(repolarization of ventricular myocardium)
5) Depolarization of ventricular myocardium is shown by QRS complex.

1. Why is the QRS complex typically larger than the P wave? Because of the large tissue mass 2. A problem with which wave would most likely indicate an atrial abnormality 3. The upper limit for a normal PR interval is 0.16 seconds. What could cause the PR interval to be abnormally long? 4. In response to hypertrophy of the left ventricle, would you expect the QRS complex to be larger or smaller? Explain your answer.
