a)

denisty of stainless steel = 8.0 g/cm3

volume of steel = 1100 / 8 = 137.5 cm3

density of water = 1.0 g/cm3

volume of water = 100 cm3

here density of stainless steel is more denser than water.

so stainless steel will displace more air

b)

actually steel is more heavier than water .

but in vacuum , and no air resistance . both fall in same time.
