Answer #1

PV = nRT

P = 14.7 psi or 1 atm

V = 6 cc or 0.006 Liter

n = ?

R = gas constant 0.0821 L atm K-1 Mol-1

Let us keep temperature 298 K constantly

Substitute in the equation

1 x 0.006 = n x 0.0821 x 298

n = 2.452 x 10-4 Mole

When pressure increased to 44.1 psi (3 atm )

3 X V =  2.452 x 10-4 x 0.0821 x 298

V = 0.002 Liter

Volume of the oxygen gas in the syringe 0.002 Liter or 2 cc
