Answer #1

(a) impedance for capacitor(Zc)=1/(jWc)

=1/(j*2*pi*f*c)

=1/(j*2*pi*(15*10^3)*(1*10^-6) )

= -10.61i

impedance for inductor (ZL)=JWL

=J(2*PI*f)(200*10^-3)

=18849.5i

(b) Total impedance (Z total ) = Zc+Zl+R

=-10.61i+18849.5i + 5

=18838.89i+5

(c) current according to ohms law (V)= I Ztotal

I = V/(Ztotal)

=10/(18838.89i+5)

=1.4088*10^-7

=0.14088 micro amperes
