The great serpent mound was a Native American work of the earth, which is almost a quarter mile long, which has been inspired by the Great serpent mound. The spiral Jetty gets invisible for a major part of the year when the water levels are up. But, the shape of the serpent mound has not been defined. It is a winding shape, and not an absolute spiral like the Jetty. It is a spiral that opens at one end as being called the tail and on the other end is being named as the head. The common thing between the two is both are historic earthworks, and would have the same meaning in whatsoever environment, if are replicated exactly.
