Answer #1

Radius of curvature = 20 cm

focal length = -20/2 = -10 cm = - 0.1 m

1/u + 1/v = 1/f

u = 6.4 cm = 0.064 m

1/v = 1/f - 1/u

v = f*u/(u - f)

v = -0.1*0.064/(0.064 - (-0.1))

v = -0.039 m = -3.9 cm

since v is negative which means image is virtual

magnification = v/u = -3.9/6.4 = -0.609

image is upright and smaller than object

Correct option is E.
