Answer #1

Answer is option B. : Amount of solution is independent variable.

Explanation

The main factors taht affect concentation of a solution are,

1.amount of solute

2.amount of solvent

3.temperature

4.solubility of the solute

5.nature of solute and solvent etc.

From these we can easily conclude option C is incorrect.because concentarion is a depend on number of factors.

Here in the graph ,gives the relationship between concentration(molarity) and volume of solution.volume of solution increases means that, volume of sovent added again or any other factor that affect volume change.

The solution is the combination of the solute and the solvent.

moles of solute Molarity(M) = Liters of solution

From the equation we can understand that concentarion depends on amount of solute (threfore option A is incorrect )

option B : From the equation ,it is very clear that molarity depends on volume of solution .but volume of solution means approximately equal to volume of solvent.

Volume of solvent inreases, volume of solution increases then concntration decreases.that is shwon in graph.

Saturated, Unsaturated & Supersaturated Solutions Solution, in which the concentration of solute is that determined by its solubility (at given temperature) is called SATURATED solution. One cannot add more solute to such a solution. We also say that a saturated solution is in equilibrium with pure solute: If we add solid Nacl to an already saturated solution of NaCl, that solid remains in equilibrium with dissolved Naci. Solution containing less solute than would be in the saturated solution, is UNSATURATED...
