Can people practice different religions like Judaism even though they do not come from Isreal or come a jew family?

Most of the religions in the world started some remote corners of the world where someone got enlightened and initiate a movement that were called as religions. Christianity, Buddhism, Islam all started in one part of the world and spread across the world. People in different parts of the world enrolled themselves to these religions because they were attracted to the teachings and practices of these religions. There are also few religions who are restricted to those who are born in that religion because these religions do not have an objective of spreading to others. Judaism, Hinduism are such religions. In my opinion, today one has the freedom to choose whichever faith one wants to follow thus, one would be able to practice Judaism if one likes to do so with a condition that one needs to join that religion. This is because people need to believe in the religion and if they believe they would become a member of that religion thus making things easy for practising it openly. However, discrimination based on the authenticity such as race, ethnicity, originality of the clan would always be there in all the religions.
