Answer #1

In aqueous medium both sodium chloride and silver acetate is dissociated as follows-

NaCl \rightarrow Na+ + Cl-

CH3COOAg\rightarrow Ag+ +CH3COO-

Now there will be double displacement reaction between-

i) Ag+ and Cl- to give AgCl precipitate (white colour)

ii) CH3COO- and Na+ to give CH3COONa (sodiumr acetate)

AgCl is so insoluble in water that only 1.3\times10-5 moles of AgCl is present per litre of a saturated solution . Hence it will form precipitate. So, option C is correct.

sodium acetate is readily soluble in water and hence it will not form precipitate at all. so option A is not correct.

Silver acetate is also soluble in water and hence will not form precipitate, so option b is not correct
