Answer #1

Percentage of children whose parents are college graduates in one parent household = 9%

So, the probability of children whose parents are college graduates in one parent household = 9/100

Percentage of children whose parents are college graduates in two parent household = 91%

So, probability of children whose parents are college graduates in two parent household = 91/100

Therefore, odds in favor of a child in one parent household whose parent is college graduates = (9/100) / (91/100) = 9/91 which is 9 to 91

Thus odds in against of a child in one parent household whose parent is college graduates = (91/100) / (9/100) = 91/9 which is 91 to 9

Hence option B is correct
