Question

What is the average watt-equivlence for all bulbs sold?

Discrete Disributions Lighbulbs are sold in watt-equivelents of brightness from the old days when all bulbs had filiments (pre CFL and LED). The higher the watt-equivlent the brighter the bulb. A company makes several different bulbs with different watt-equivelents. The probability of each bulb being sold is in the graph below: 0.5 0.45 0.4 0.35 20 0.3 D0.25 0.2 0.15 0.1 o 0.05 0 40W 90W 100W 150W 200W

QuestioN1 You are workingon a team that is building a lightweight, remote-controlled aircraft with the goal of lifting as much payload as possible. Your team has selected a design that will use a rectangular wing with a constant cross-section in the form of a high-lift airfoil. You are responsible for the initial sizing of the load carrying spar that runs the entire span of the wing. In flight, the spar acts much like a loaded cantilevered beam, as shown in...

I need guidance here is the graph that I just created for #2 FI= \kAl 1. Where k is the spring constant and Al is the change in the length of the spring. This relationship is called Hooke's Law. In your class vou will discuss this in more detail and include direction, and any appropriate offset or discussion of relaxed or equilibrium position. we find the spring constant by applying a force and measuring how far the spring stretches from...

For a bimolecular reaction, A+B---->C, a research scientist has collected sufficient data to construct time courses. The scientist incubated reactants A and B together and observed the formation of product C with increasing reaction time. The scientist then repeated this in the presence of [A] = 15 M and varied concentrations of B (All data are provided...
