Pretty difficult organic chemisty, synthesis question. I don't think we have even covered anything remotely close to this.

7. (8 marks) Carbonyl groups may be reduced to methylene groups by formation of a hydrazine and then treating the hydrazine with aqueous base and heat. Write a mechanism for reaction of the hydrazine with base to give the methylene. NH2 ??
