At the inlet (x 0) the velocity is 2 m/s, at the outlet (x=L = 2 m) the velocity is 8 m/s and a velocity extremum (maximum or minimum) is known to occur at midpoint (x L/2 1 m). Derive the equation of acceleration as a function of x. Calculate the acceleration at the inlet, the outlet and the midpoint.
