Amplitude is the vertical distance of the axis of symmetry to the one of the peaks of the graph. Here axis of symmetry(center line) is x=1 (not x-axis)  So amplitude is 5

Period is the distance between two peaks. On the graph one peak is on the point (1,6) and second immediate next peak is at the point (5,6). So distance between peaks is 4​.

Amplitude =5

Period =4
