How do you plan to avoid burnout if you become a psychotherapist?
Person who are stress and have an emotional state of exhaustion, cynicism and depersonalization comes under a high level of stress and all this lead to burnout. Burnout is a syndrome. People who have a burnout are not happy but also risky.
So there are ways a person even a psychotherapist can avoid burnout.
If you feel that you are emotionally week or getting to much stress talk to your colleagues or family about your situation. Speak up, before it turns into burn out as it will get worst.
Try to engage yourself in physical activity, exercise, walk or have small run.
Eat healthy food, and try to socialize often. Meet friends , talk about life and other stuff.
These are some of the steps to avoid a burnout.
