How to do this on a mac? is it possible? The .exe extension files do not work on a mac so I cannot do the tasks

Mac is a unix based system, so you do not need .exe after application name.

Firstly launch your terminal and then start running these commands as net-snmp may be already installed in your system.

If not then you can simply do an online search to install it on your mac.
