It is called Rsquared means coefficient of determination.

Rsquared = (correlation coefficient)^2

Correlation coefficient =r = √Rsqauared

=√0.68

=0.82

r =0.82

Sign of correlation coefficient is positive because here given that as number day of drought increase intensity of fire also increase.so it is positive correlation
