Benefits of Fibre rope are-

1.Power may be taken off in any direction.

2.The shafts may be out of alignment.

3.They have high Mechanical efficiency.

4.They are little affected by outdoor conditions.

5. They give steady, smooth and quite service.

So in case of fibre rope benefits 4th option is not true i.e. High affected by outdoor conditions.

Benefits of chain drive are,

1. Chain drive has high transmission efficiency upto 98%.

2. No slip takes place in chain drives so perfect velocity ration is obtained.

3. It permits high speed ratio.

4. Chain drive gives less load on shafts.

5. Chain drive can be used when distance between shafts is less.

Following is not a benefit of chain drives but it is a limitation that it requires acurate mounting, carefull maintenance, lubrication and slack adjustment . So answer is option no 3.
