Answer #1

Answer:

Simulation is defined as the imitation of the model to be developed including all its properties such as Physical structure , behaviour , key characteristics , properties , function.

1 . Failure in parts can be identified by the error shown in solid works or if it doesn't give the desired results .

Another method for determining failure is when the ductile parts in assembly of parts is below the value of yield strength half value i.e. FOS = 2 in bending and tension .

2 . Maximum tension and compression occurs at the

Maximum tension stress = maximum of 1st principal stress

Maximum compressive stress = minimum of 3rd principal stress

3 . Von mises stress has certain benefits in comparison to the bending stress , one of them is that it is able to predict certain yielding of the following material under complex loading situation.

4. Fillet creates the stress concentration on the region if used for weld assembly . However in cases of big assembly parts where we have to add or remove material , we can use fillets .

Please rate the answer good if you like it .

Hello, Q1: where does the f(1,17) the 1 come from? Q2, how do i get the second equation from the first equation? thanks Heat treating is often used to carburize metal parts such as gears. The thickness of the carburized layer is considered an important feature of the gear, and it contributes to the overall reliability of the part. Because of the critical nature of this feature, a lab test is performed on each furnace load. The test is a...
