i.e., rate(t+10)0c / ratet0c = 2

For exapme consider the temperature change from 00c to 400c

rate100c / rate00c = 2

rate200c / rate100c = 2

rate300c / rate200c = 2

rate400c / rate300c= 2

therefore,

rate400c / rate00c = (rate100c / rate00c) * (rate200c / rate100c ) * (rate300c / rate200c ) * (rate400c / rate300c)

                        = 2 * 2* 2* 2

                        = 16
