“Is it possible that objectively a product is high quality but subjectively low quality?”
Please support your answer by providing relevant example.
Answer
Yes, it is possible that objectively a product is high quality but subjectively low quality, considering my personal experience, dove shampoo marketers claims that the Product is of high quality, it nourishes the hair, reduce hair fall, and bring shine. These objectives are also mentioned on the Product packaging and is also advertised in the same way. But, when actually applying it on my hair, it had a negative effect, loss of hair shine, lot of hair fall, and total damage. To me it is not at all a high quality product. Meaning, subjectivity I apply here depends on how I perceive it and what benefits the Product gave me or it failed to meet my needs.
In short, objectivity can be defined in terms of numbers, discrete data, and the quality determinants. Subjectivity can be defined by how conditions or situation makes an individual believe and experience whether the Product is of high quality or not.
