The thing is to hire a hacker regardless of what hat he is but, I would definitely hire White Hat Hacker and the reason is soo simple:

Every company wants trusted employees and employees play a main role in building and securing the data, if employees play the tricks then no one is going to stop my company from leaking data and sensitive information.
Black Hat Hackers are not trustworthy, they are like criminals who just destroy the website or steal credit cards for their own gain.
While White Hat Hackers hack into the system and report the same to admin for its patch.
So it is a good idea to hire a white-hat hacker because their records and intensions were pure when they were not working with any company and have high chances of being loyal to my company than black hat hackers.
