Let p1 = proportion of voters who were planning to vote for a certain candidate during the first poll.
p2 = proportion of voters who were planning to vote for a certain candidate during the second poll.

Null hypothesis -> H_0: p_1 = p_2 versus Alternative hypothesis -> H_1: p_1 \ne p_2 .

We are testing whether the proportion of voters planning to vote for the candidate remains the same during both the polls.
